My Favorite U.S. Airport

Should have included this in the posting below.

Which U.S. airport is my favorite? Easy: Harrisburg, PA. Friendly people (even the TSA is very professional in my experience), good services, easy to get around.

  1. That's cheating!! You need to pick your favorite hub and then favorite midsize airport.

How does LGA not make your list for overall worst US airport, especially Concourse C. They've done their best to put lipstick on that pig, but it's still a pig.

Favorite midsize airport: Louisville. Easy access to town, no damn rental car shuttles, and enough amenities. On short list: Tucson and Norfolk.

  2. @Brian. I count the "people experience" and I don't have many problems the people at LGA. EWR is the worst of the NYC stereotype. That is why LGA didn't make it, but it is a bad facility.

I like SDF and TUS, also. Have never flown through ORF.

I don't think I have a favorite hub airport. It is mediocre and worse.

  3. We're honored that you've named us your favorite airport! How often do you visit MDT?

  4. Thanks for visiting! We saw your tweet regarding this post on Twitter. A quick note our handle is @HIAairport and hashtag is #MDT, the "@MDT" handle is someone's private account, no affiliation with our airport.
